The Journal of Sexual Medicine (JSM) has given voice to those of us in the field [1-6] performing research or providing clinical care whether in the biologic or psychologic sphere, or as we so proudly like to term for some of our readers, the biopsy-chosocial. But who gives voice to those men and women who want to scream out "Help me!" "See me!" "Hear me!" The governments of our various countries collectively sigh, "We know you're out there but we have 'more important' areas to which to commit our scarce healthcare resources." Providers themselves often respond to pleas for patient's sexual medical concerns with, "I saved your life, you shouldn't be concerned at this point with your sex life," or "you just had a baby, you shouldn't worry about having sex any more.
