The awarding ceremony for "the 6th Public-Invitation Contest for Steel-Structure Building Designs" was held at the POSCO Center July 22. The Steel Construction Center (SCC) under the Korea Iron & Steel Association (KOSA) held "a publicly invited contest for steel-structure building designs" targeted at university and graduate school students nationwide, picked a total of 30 pieces of work and awarded the prizes to them; that is, 1 gold, and 3 silver, 6 copper and 20 recommendation ones. This publicly invited contest, marking its 6th since 1998, was joined in by a total of 205 teams from 47 universities and graduate schools nationwide. "Digital & Information" shown off by a team of 3 including Koh Sung-jin from Hongik University, walked away with the gold prize, an award from the chairman of SCC, after receiving a stringent examination by a review committee comprising related experts and officials related to the steel sector.
