Local makers of cold-rolled flat products are suffering a lot of difficulties not only in maintaining the price competitiveness of their products in the overseas market, but also in securing profits due to the surging price for the hot-rolled coils produced by POSCO amid shrinkage of demand for their products both at home and abroad.
