Hyundai Steel is firming its position as a specialized automotive sheet maker in a year after starting operation of its two blast furnaces with an annual production capacity of 8 million tons. Hyundai Steel shipped 2.5 million tons of the automotive sheets this year and plans to increase the tonnage to 3.2 million tons next year.
