Seoul, October 3,2005-The International Iron and Steel Institute(IISI) has issues today its Short Range Outlook for Steel Demand. This forecasts the development of Apparent Demand for Finished Steel Products until the end of next year. The prospects are good for continued rea groth in the demand for steel worldwide accirding to the latest projections by IISI. Apparent Steel Demand is forecast to grow to 1040-1053 million tonnes in 2006 from a tital of 972 million tonnes in 2004. This is a growth of 4-5 percent over the two year period.
