KOBELCO, a local maker of flux cored wires (FCW), said that it will be possible for the company to begin the full-scale operation of its additionally expanded FCW production facilities at the end of this month. An official at the company said that it has expanded the facilities in earnest since mid-August, foreseeing it will be possible to turn out the products soon from the new facilities after completing the related production tests. Thus, KOBELCO's monthly FCW production capacity is expected to increase from 1,400 tons to 1,600 tons.
