KISWIRE Ltd., hard steel wires and steel tire cord producer, established KISWIRE Qingdao Ltd. in China and is developing a land to construct a wire works. Early March KISWIRE resolved to invest an initial money of 10 million dollars at its board of directors meeting. The planned total investment is 50 million dollars to produce wire ropes, hard steel wires, PC wires, and galvanized wires and supply them in China. The site size is 120,000 square meters and the quantity to be produced per item is still to be fixed. The final production capacity will be 60,000 tons by the year of 2007.
