The Korea Metal Furniture Industry Association has a plan to hold a steel furniture design contest with an aim to increase the demand for metal furniture and promote the development of furniture designs through the activation of metal furniture industry. The contest for new steel furniture designs, which will be opened at the lobby of POSCO Center in Seoul from November 28 through December 2 as a part of the commemoration activities for the 7th Steel Day is inviting applications of fresh works which have originality in expressing the unique properties of steel in practical use of the furniture at the West Wing of POSCO Center during a period from October 10 through 11.
