In October, China began its seven consecutive holidays on October 1 to celebrate the anniversary of the national foundation in the whole country, but its steel business is expected to continue its robust growth as ever. It is because that even though a rumor is abroad that the Chinese government will impose export tax of 25 percent at the maximum on the outbound shipments of major steel products, it is actually difficult to see any concrete effect from it within one month of October and market conditions are anticipated to be favorable for steel business to get brisk this month.
