YK Steel is scheduled to conduct streamlining works on its rolling facilities in the upcoming Chusok holidays. The major purpose of the planned streamlining works on its No.1 Rolling Mill is to improve the straightness of small-size reinforcing bars. To this end, the company has a plan to pour about 600 million won into the revamping works on the fixing plates of cooling dies at the mill. The streamlining works on the No.1 Rolling Mill, which turns out reinforcing bars with 10 mm and 13 mm in diameter, will be carried out from October 2 through 10.
