About the time this issue of The Professional Forester is being printed, representatives from Canada's professional forester/forest engineer associations, the Canadian Institute of Forestry (CIF), the Canadian Forestry Accreditation Board (CFAB) and anumber of schools of forestry will be gathering in Toronto for another in a series of meetings begun in May 2003 by the Canadian Federation of Professional Foresters Associations (CFPFA). Although there are many issues yet to be resolved, the eventualoutcome of the initiative, known as the "Inclusivity Project", is expected to be the putting in place of a new and uniform set of academic standards for entrance into professional forestry practice across Canada.
