The Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) underwent substantial change during the 2004 contract cycle. Since it began in 1966, it has always been a highly respected and heavily used bibliographic resource, but some users are unaware of its current status due to the recent changes in its format and availability. This update highlights major developments and assesses the resulting ERIC product in light of the current education index marketplace.
