This coming year we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the publication of Flora of The Bahama Archipelago, the seminal work by Donovan Correll (1908-1983) and his wife Helen Correll (1907-2000) with the extraordinary illustrations of Priscilla Fawcett. This 1,691 -page book represents one of the best floras ever produced for the West Indies and a main research milestone for Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. It also led to one of the Fairchild herbarium's most significant and extensive collections.
