Astro Arc Polysoude, Menomonee Falls, Wis., has donated precision GTAW equipment to the Edison Welding Institute (EWI). The equipment will be used to extend and support EWI's precision arc welding by providing a multifunction GTAW and plasma power source. It is being used to support projects for the Navy Joining Center and the U.S. Marines.EWI, located on the campus of Ohio State University in Columbus, is a not-for-profit material joining institute that specializes in joining related design, materials, process controls, and inspection technology.
