The RDI Group, Itasca, Ill., has formed a new-product development group dedicated to the research and development of new products for customers of the company's three business units-Chicago Slitter, Reichel & Drews, and Grotnes Metalforming Systems.In a related move, Blase Rau has been named manager of new-product development.Chicago Slitter designs and manufactures coil processing equipment for metal processors.
