Loctite Corp. has added the Fixmaster~ò pipe repair kit to its line of products for MRO professionals. The kit-which can be used to repair metal, plastic, and composite pipes-is among a number of industrial products recently acquired by the company through its purchase of Fel-Pro Chemical.The kit includes everything needed to make temporary, immediate, on-site repairs to cracked pipes and damaged pipe joints without tools or special training, the company says. Repair packages include urethane-impregnated fiberglass tape, a Metal Magic Steel~(TM) epoxy stick, and a pair of specially treated protective gloves. The epoxy stick is certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 61 for use with potable water.
