Ebm GmbH has developed a fully automated machine for manufacturing fuel lines. The machine offers three distinct advantages, according to the company. First, the machine can process a variety of tube diameters without retooling. The operator simply selects a new program to download the new tube geometry to the machine. Second, the cycle time is five seconds. Last, a laser is available to mark every part. Developed specifically for fuel lines, it also handles other tube applications, such as axles, shafts, exhaust systems, air-conditioner tubes, and shock absorbers.
