Miller Electric Mfg. Co. says its XMT~R 350 MPa multiprocess inverter is the industry's first welding machine designed specifically for pulsed GMAW with voltage-sensing feeders. It is suitable for portable applications and when space savings and low weight are necessary. Designed to simplify pulsed GMAW, the inverter has built-in pulsing controls and advanced arc controls that allow the operator to control weld puddle fluidity, weld bead profile, and arc length. It includes programs for welding nickel, silicon-bronze, copper-nickel, 4000- and 5000-series aluminum, stainless steel, metal-cored steel, and mild steel.
