If you just had one disease to combat, disease control management wouldn't be so hard. You could concentrate all of your efforts on that one problem Unfortunately, that's not the case, You can often expect to do battle against more than one disease ina crop year. Two of the most common diseases in peanut fields are leaf spot and white mold. Leaf spot diseases will affect most all growers to some extent However, several foliar diseases cause leaf spot-like lesions, and fungicides do not work equallyon all foliar diseases. Therefore, correctly identifying that the spots on your crop is leaf spot disease is important.
