RACING is exciting, especially top fuel drag racing. What's not to love about a car that develops 10,000 horsepower and covers 1,000 feet in less than 4 seconds? You don't have to be a gearhead to understand that this sport is the culmination of maximum horsepower, heart-stopping acceleration, and lightning-fast reflexes. Of course it's not the only game in town. Oval-track racing is equally exciting, but for different reasons. Thundering down the straightaways, then careening around the hairpin turns at either end, and always at the razor's edge that separates control from disaster is a different race altogether.
