Three Internet-oriented business phenomena- e-business (electronic business), e-commerce (electronic commerce), and c-commerce (collaborative commerce) -are changing and disrupting the way companies function. These phenomena will usher in a new business model that will affect every link of the supply chain, It will have a dramatic impact on suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors.The Internet business model will align and integrate suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors much more closely than the traditional business model does .Rather than functioning as separate, distinct entities, they will act together as a single unit.
