摘要

It is now common knowledge that biological cells are sensitive to electrical current. Moreover, the biochemical behavior of individual nerve cells, which provides a biological system with an ultrafast electrical communication system, is reasonably understood. The basic origin of this bio-electrochemical-based communication arises from changes in cellular membrane polarity due to controlled movement of ions in and out of cells, which result in an action potential.
