Not being an expert on anything but having a long and full life filled with many wonderful experiences, along with 25 years of experience in poultry, it is my opinion and only my opinion, that the Bird Flu is just media hype and just plain hysteria and unfounded conjecture. This hysteria has been pushed into the forefront by the media and other officials to just frighten and scare the population into thinking that poultry can be dangerous. I also get the feeling that they are saying that if you havepoultry you will be in danger and endanger others. I feel perfectly safe with our peafowl, ducks and geese and have NO fear of getting anything from our birds.
