摘要

The formation and decay processes of triplet polyphenyl compounds ((PPC)-P-3*: p-terphenyl, trimethylbenzene and triphenylene) sensitized by triplet benzophenone ((BP)-B-3*) were investigated by laser photolysis techniques at 295 K. The net rate constant and efficiency for the formation of (PPC)-P-3* were obtained. The deactivation pathway of (PPC)-P-3* was found to proceed via tripler exciplexes since the decay rate of (PPC)-P-3* as a function of [BP] gave a negative curve. The kinetic parameters for the triplet exciplex were determined. [References: 28]
