OVER the next 30 days, cattle trucks by the hundreds will roll into Kansas every day, bringing more than a million head of cattle to Kansas. They will come from states as far away as Florida and Louisiana to spend a season here. Some will spend as much as 20 hours in a trailer before arriving at Cassoday, Matfield Green, Bazaar or ny one of dozens of cattle pens that dot the highways that wind through Kansas' world-famous Flint Hills.
