Wheat futures are currently around A200 dollar per tonne and many growers are taking the opportunity to lock in prices as part of their risk management strategies. The higher prices are largely due to production concerns in the Northern Hemisphere and speculation by fund managers, according to National Australia Bank's (NAB) Head of Agribusiness Treasury Management Tim Keith.
