摘要

The park is 37 acres primarily fruit trees, vegetables and herbs. We started a new master plan to redesign the park on August 24th, 1992. We decided to totally redesign the park because it was all gone from Hurricane Andrew. Prior to the hurricane there wasn't a name for this school of landscaping that the park possessed but I later named it the "Stevie Wonder" school of landscape design. When I arrived at the Fruit and Spice park trees had been planted in such random places, every tree had a story but landscaping had not been considered. One tree would be planted without any relation the one next to it.
