摘要

Storage performance of savoy beet. Beta vulgaris var bengalensis cv 'Pusa jyoti' grown in two different seasons was evaluated. There was a decrease in the #beta#-carotene, ascorbic acid and chlorophyll contents in both seasons but these changes werefaster in summer, when the shelf life was 4 days, than in winter, when it was 6 days.
