Uveitis is a common and painful ocular disease in cats that can eventually lead to blindness. Uveitis often occurs secondary to an acquired ocular or systemic disorder; however, in many instances the underlying cause is not identified despite diagnostic testing. As such, it a great challenge for practitioners with respect to diagnosis and treatment. In this article, we review the pathophysiology, clinical presentation, causes, and treatment of uveitis in cats.
