Dealing with yard pests, like moles, gophers, rabbits and deer can be daunting and frustrating. It can also be profitable. The damage done to ornamentals and turf by these unwelcome visitors adds up to millions of dollars annually, and people are willing to pay handsomely to eliminate their portion of that huge cost. A large dog can be of assistance in lessening problems with deer, but you can't recommend that solution to all your customers, as commercial accounts would probably frown on keeping a pack of roaming canines around to welcome clients, likewise, you can try the Bill Murray "Caddy Shack" (dynamite in the gopher/mole hole) approach, but that likely won't go over well either.
