摘要

The aim was to evaluate if the community pharmacist (CP) operating an emergency hormonal contraception enhanced service, is a suitable outlet for expanding access to sexual health advice on sexually transmitted infections, and free condoms. The results indicate that the CP is a suitable outlet to supply sexual health services to young people because of their accessibility, their opening times and their understanding of sexual health issues. The project recommends that the primary care sector considers the commissioning of enhanced services that expand the access to sexual health services through the CP.
