摘要

The anomalous nuclear reaction from the thermal cycle experiment of metal-absorbed deuterium in pressurized deuterium has been studied by some investigators. The neutron burst signal from this kind of experiments using the high level neutron coincidence counter (HLNCC) device has been measured under the stringent temperature and humidity conditions in our lab last years. Most experiments have been conducted by us under DC-power condition, and some were carried out at deep-mine (500 m) location at Mentou Valley in Beijing. The results of these measurements show that the neutron burst signals have been observed with a good repeatability, one of which is shown in fig. 1. To clarify the nature of this phenomenon, we modified our device into a system formeasuring time distribution of the signal to measure the die-away time of the neutron burst in HLNCC in 1992. During the 3-month measurement, the information about anomalous nuclear reaction of metal (Ti)-absorbed deuterium in pressurized deuterium gashas been obtained, which shows that they are some real neutron pulse signals originating from the anomalous nuclear reaction in thermal cycling of D/Ti system.
