摘要

IN recent years, magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) demonstrated its unique advantages in analysis of metal porphyrin and its interaction with protein . However, there were few reports about the application of MCD method in photosynthesis field. It isknown that most pigments in PS II -RC are metal porphyrin type . This note reports the MCD spectrum of PS II -RC and a part of primary assignments of its peak components. The research of PS II -RC MCD will provide us new information of pigment structures and their binding states on proteins of PS II -RC which is helpful for solving the problem of serious overlap of the absorption spectrum Q bands of PS II -RC in the red region.
