Theorem 1 (The T(l) theorem of David-Journe). Suppose that the kernel of an operator T satisfies and, Moreover, if T(l) = T~*(1)=0, T∈ WBP, then T can be extended to a bounded operator on L~2(R~n). In the theory of singular integral operator with convolution kernel, up to now the Hormander condition has been known as the weakest kernel condition to guarantee the bound-edness of operator on L~2, as well as on the Hardy spaces H and the Besov spaces B_1~(01).
