SDN Control Cable-Type TC is the latest addition to the American Insulated Wire Corporation product line. Th power and control tray cable, tated at 90 deg C/600V, is designed for use in open air, raceway, conduit or direct burial applications.The cable was described as an "ideal choice for tough flexing and reeling applications where mechanical ruggedness and small diameters are required." The cable's thermal properties make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments, where it can be used for crane, hoist, load lift and platform and pendant station applications, a company press release said. It features special polymer insulation, a nylon insulation sheath and an arctic-grade neoprene jacket in a small-diameter construction.
