Swiss-based International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has released a CD-ROM of its ISO 14000 environmental management standards for purchase. A press release said that the CD-ROM contains 20 published standards of the ISO 14000 family, plus drafts nearing completion, and ISO Guide 64:1997. It includes: ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 14004:2004 on, respectively, environmental management system requirements and general guidelines, principles and system support techniques; ISO 14050:2002 on the vocabulary used in environmental management; ISO 14015:2001 on the environmental assessment of sites and organizations. The new drafts include (ISO 14064 parts 1,2 and 3) on greenhouse gases (GHG).
