FPT Telecom announced that it has completed a 10-Gbps next-generation network in Vietnam, a system that uses Ethernet, broadband and IP solutions from Cisco Systems to deliver a wide range of services over high-speed broadband connections. "PT Telecom wants to bring state-of-the-art Internet services to Vietnam. To achieve this, we need a solid foundation that is carrier-class, scalable and cost-effective," said Truong Dinh Anh, general director of FPT Telecom, in a Cisco press release.
