摘要

The present study entitled "Effect of chemical fertilizers and biofertilizer on growth, yield and quality of okra {Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench] cv. Gujarat Okra-2" was conducted at Instructional Farm, Department of Agronomy, College of Agriculture. The result of experiment indicated that treatment T_8(75% RDF- NPK-60:37.50:37.50kg/ha + Azotobacter-4 kg) gave significantly maximum germination (87.00%), plant height at harvest (174.00 cm), number of leaves per plant (34.00), productive span (44.00 days), number of pickings (12.03), average fruit weight (14.67g), number of fruits per plant (14.87), fruit yield (12168.0 kg/ha) and dry weight of pod (39.40g) with minimum days to first picking (44.00)
