摘要

In general polysiloxane polymers are considered to have good heat, light and oxidation resistance, but crosslinking systems of a certain volume tend to be brittle. In order to overcome this britdeness problem, polysiloxanes are mixed with more flexible organic polymers, which tend to have lower heat, light and oxidation resistance. A rule of thumb is that 30 wt% of organic binder modification is necessary in order to absorb the build up of internal stress (although the organic binder may still eventually turn brittle).
