The already voluminous anthology of deepwater technical advancements that DeepStar has orchestrated continues to swell as new chapters are added continuously in response to ever-increasing water depth targets, increasingly challenging reservoir conditions and industry drivers that can change quickly. The systematic approach to technology development allows the long-running joint industry project (JIP) to address quickly what its members identify as the principal technical and operational gaps of the day. Since member operators provide 100% of the funding, the vetting process tends to move at a brisk pace.
