A new Method for Secure Communication in Chaotic Systems

摘要

This study proposed a new method that applies independent component analysis (ICA) to chaotic communication secure systems. ICA was employed to retrieve the original message signal confused in a chaotic environment. ICA can minimize the statistical dependence between the signals; that is, making the signals independent from each other. Then the message signal may be retrieved through unmixing matrix. The results showed that ICA could effectively extract the original message signal. The proposed method provided the following advantages: low amount of calculation, simplicity, fast convergence speed, and excellent security. Unlike the traditional chaotic synchronization, it does not require knowing the basic variables of chaotic noise and Gaussian white noise.
