摘要

Small and medium hardening shops are in need of flexible heat treatment facilities. A multi-purpose furnace is presented which can he used widely from nitridingitrocarburizing to carburizing. This is resulting from an isolation with low storage capacity which enables a swift forming of the furnace. The processes of carburizing and nitridingitrocarburizing are probe controlled. Thus a stress specific variation of the layer composition is possible. A multitude of technological options can he exploited with this furnace. The furnace grants a high standard of quality control, safety techniques and process documentation.
