People who are searching for information on crops and plant products including bamboo often contact university extension agents and research specialists. But bamboo is a relatively new and unexplored crop in the United States and most researchers andextension agents know very little about it. Bamboo specialists growers and enthusiasts have a great opportunity to introduce university researchers and extension agents to bamboo and to work together to address production and marketing issues around thecountry.
