摘要

When a satellite or scientific instrument is sent into space, it must first survive the harsh launch environment and then be able to accurately orient itself in order to transmit data to and from specific locations in space or back on earth. Galled "pointing accuracy," this ability depends to a great extent not only on the dimensional accuracy of payload structures, but their dimensional stability during transport into orbit and throughout an often lengthy mission.
