Uuickstep Holdings Ltd. (North Coo-gee, Australia, and Dayton, Ohio) has secured its second major aerospace manufacturing program. Following the commencement of manufacturing for the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter program, a potential 700 million dollars contract secured in 2011, Quickstep reported on March 5 that it had been selected as the supplier for wing flaps on the C-130J Hercules military transport aircraft following an international commercial tender offer by Lockheed Martin (Marietta, Ga.) that attracted bids from numerous manufacturers around the world.
