My book bag was some six pounds lighter after removing Peter Cox and Peter Hutchison's Seeds of Adventure (Garden Art Press, 2008, sum35). And it's appropriate that a book of such epic weight should chronicle such epic travels. Subtitled 'ln Search ofPlants', its 400-plus pages give accounts of the sixteen plant-hunting journeys to Turkey and (mostly) the Far East undertaken by the two Peters (usually together) in a forty-year period that culminated in a 2002 return trip to Arunachal Pradesh, in India's remote north-east.
