摘要

Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) is a neoplastic disease of unknown etiopathogenesis. It has been recently reported that it is associated with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection in a high proportion of cases (100%) . However, these results have not been reproduced by others . As suggested by Brousset , these variable results could be due to geographic variations or to technical issues. This controversy prompted us to evaluate 117 biopsy specimens from 34 cases diagnosed as LCH at Boldrini's Children#
