Ronald Breslow is widely known as a teacher,mentor,award-winning author,and researcher.In his 2006 Othmer Gold Medal acceptance speech,Breslow spoke about his work,his students,and the world of chemistry with the enthusiasm that comes from long and passionate commitment:"People understand science as exploring the world.They don't necessarily yet understand science as extending the world.But that's one of the major things that chemistry does,and it's one of the things that has made it always so exciting to me."
