摘要

In this paper a new experimental technique for study behavior of sheet metal in the range of low to high strain rates is applied. The main purpose of this study is to analyse the behavior of sheet metal for an industrial application since variety of industrial processes such as drawing or even crashworthiness, involve at wide range of strain rates. The test method is a combination of two experimental techniques [1] which permits to cover a range of strain rates from 10(-4) to 10(3) s(-1). The combination of two schemes of loading insures a complete characterisation of the shear behavior. On the basis of experimental results an original viscoplastic model is proposed which takes into account strain hardening, strain rate sensitivity and temperature. [References: 5]
