The structure of Ru2B3 [space group P63/mmc, no. 194, a = 290.4891) pm, c = 1281.6376) pm] and OS_2B3 [space group P63/mmc, no. 194, a = 291.4512) pm, c = 1292.131) pm] were determined using neutron diffraction and 11B-isotopically enriched crystal- line powder samples. Thus it was possible for the first time to determine accurate boron atom positions, displacement parameters and B-B distances. The compounds do not show superconductivity down to T = 1.8 K.
